Astro Bot comes to Rayman Legends Retold as a PS5 costume
Ubisoft and Team Asobi collaborate on a cosmetic crossover ahead of the game's planned December 3 release on PS5.
Rayman Legends Retold is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5 on December 3, 2026. Ubisoft has announced a cosmetic crossover with Astro Bot for the PlayStation edition, bringing the small robot's look into the Rayman universe.
According to the announcement, players can obtain the free costume during their first visit to Victor Velour, the in-game tailor. It is a visual customization rather than a separate playable character with an entirely new set of mechanics.
The collaboration follows Rayman's appearance in Astro Bot and returns the reference in the opposite direction. It connects a long-running platform series with a newer PlayStation mascot.
What the crossover includes
The announced reward is a costume, not a standalone expansion. No additional gameplay systems should be inferred from the visual collaboration.
