Nintendo Indie World: Witchbrook gets a date and four games receive demos
Nintendo's October 28 Indie World showcased upcoming Switch and Switch 2 releases, including Witchbrook and several playable demos.
Nintendo's Indie World presentation on October 28, 2026 brought several independent game announcements to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. Witchbrook was given a planned release date of January 28, 2027.
Haunted Paws, Petal Runner, RACCOIN: Chaos Max Edition and Winds of Viridia were among the games announced with demos on the eShop. Regional availability can differ, so the storefront is the reliable place to check each download.
Other announcements included Bao Bao's Cozy Cleaning Services for Switch and Sword of the Sea for Switch 2, scheduled for October 29. Not every highlighted game arrives simultaneously or on both platforms.
What to play before launch
Demos offer a practical way to compare projects after a packed showcase, but not every title becomes available in every territory at the same hour.
